For my first assignment for my Applied Visual Communication I project, we were to create a zine of a designer of our choice. This 12 page design zine is a tribute to contemporary designer Teagan White. She is an illustrator, and her work consists mostly of detailed illustrations of plants, animals, typography, playful images mainly for children’s books etc. this zine is my interpretation of her work in my own style. I chose to use mediums I like, such as drawing, printmaking, and serigraphy. I made everything by hand and used materials around my home.
